GSHL Middle School Tournament Recap

So another season comes to an end. Skyridge did well Tuesday night, 2/20/19, in the varsity tournament, but our two varsity teams came up a little shy in the end, just missing out on making it to the final championship round.  In other news, though, Liberty did make it to the finals and did walk away with the District trophy!  Congrats, Liberty … Go Lions!  Nice to keep the hardware in Camas.

In the “International”/JV tournament, we had five Skyridge kids who competed on the mixed school teams that made it to the final round, with Nahn Truong’s team winning the trophy! Congrats!

And to make up some of the lost participation we suffered this year due to inclement weather, we held the first ever Skyridge Intramural Match on Wednesday, 2/20/19, at Skyridge. Team Delta had a beautiful night, earning first place and the coveted Sky Cup! Team Delta is William, Ishan, Katrina, Paige, Sam, and Mitchell. Well done, team Delta!

Thank you for a great season, Skyridge. Coach Hunting and I hope you can take some pride in being a part of the well-oiled machine that is Skyridge Knowledge Bowl. We’ll see you next year, hopefully, either at Skyridge or CHS knowledge bowl.
